Project Objective

The objective of this process is to create neighborhood villages with increased services for local residents and multiple transportation options.

Four documents will be created and brought to the Planning Commission and City Council for adoption:

1. A neighborhood villages plan outlining the location, character and mobility improvements and programs of proposed neighborhood villages;
2. Transportation Demand Management (TDM) regulations to encourage the efficient use of the roadway system across modes and times;
3. Off-street parking regulations in harmony with the neighborhood villages plan; and
4. Neighborhood village design guidelines illustrating the encouraged and required character of new development in neighborhood villages.
